Can't import eps or ai file

I have a logo that was done for me but I would like to open it in Corel to do some tweaking but it won't open the ai or eps version of the file.   I tried to post the file but its too big, If you can look at it send me a email at Hornnumb2 at Comcast dot Net and I will send it to you. Thanks Michael

    This may be due to the fact that the AI file is newer than CorelDRAW X4 and X4 does not know how to interpret the new AI/EPS format and compression. Can you have the original designer re-supply you with another file, in an older AI/EPS format or in a PDF format.
