And don't I love del.icio.us... I hope you have all noticed that we now have a Coreldraw on del.icoi.us and have signed in...
Here is a little gem I've extracted from there tonight...
I've attached it as a txt file as reg files are not allowed as uploads. But if you change the extension to reg and just click on it it will write the data to the registry effort free.

One of the many claims Microsoft makes for Windows Longhorn/Vista is that it will launch applications 15% faster than Windows XP does currently. This is down to improvements in the Prefetch functionality.Well, there’s no need to wait until Longhorn arrives; this improvement is already in Windows XP thanks to Service Pack 2. It just needs to be turned on.
To enable super prefetch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters
Data Type: DWORD
Value Name: EnableSuperfetch
Value: 1
If you are not comfortable editing your registry then please do not do this!
OK perhaps I should read all the comment before I become a believer...

Mastertech September 24th, 2005 02:31 GMT This does NOTHING, This is “tweak” is a MYTH: XP Myths Please stop spreading this crap around. This myth was started when the Inquirer irresponsibly ran a bogus letter without doing any fact checking. Windows internals guru Mark Russinovich said this won't work, the “Superfetch” string isn't even in the Windows XP kernel. You can confirm this yourself by checking with the strings.exe utility. This makes it impossible for it to do anything since no “Superfetch” command exists. Windows cannot execute a nonexistent command and will simply ignore it. Anyone who says this works is not only lying but a fool. Too good to be true usually is!Yani

It came from a link via del.icio.us via Corel's home site. So much for trusted authority.
I got all excited about that. A bit of Vista for the poor XPers.
This pre-fetching lark barely does anything on Vista anyway. Especially if you have at least 2Gb memory installed.
Yani, can you point me in the right direction where you got this link? Is it from http://del.icio.us/coreldraw?
