I've been using CorelDraw since the early 90's. I don't use many features, X4 or even earlier versions do what I need. Windows 10 says CorelDraw X4 it is incompatible. I have a modest number of .cdr files that I would really like to use. What are the alternatives short of the latest (expensive) version?
I attempted to install X4 in my Windows 10 partition and Windows said it would damage my computer, wow that's not nice.I did install CorelDraw8 (circa 1997) but it wouldn't run.

You DO know that Windows 10 has a native ability to make virtual machines to run alternate OS's, do you not?
