CorelDraw x5

I just recently built a new PC for a client because he wanted more speed so I upgraded his Windows 7 32 bit to a 64 bit software, gave him a beefy motherboard, processor and tons or RAM and also installed an SSD drive with a secondary regular hard drive for storage.  He has had issues with the Corel since I built him this system.  He likes to work quickly and have multiple files open as well as his huge Roland printer working and after he does a few dozen alterations the program comes up that it has to shut down due to an error.  He is quite getting frustrated with this and I don't blame him.  I have moved all his programs and files now to just the SSD drive to see if that resolved it and it did not.  He does not want to get new software but if that is the solution I will eat the cost.  Today he had a stoppage of the Roland printer and CorelDraw but it seems to me that Corel is the kicker in this equation.  Any suggestions?
