Though I know that I will come out as an absolute newbee (what I am) I need to know the following.
I bought a graphic which separate objects should be color changeable due to given clipping paths.Unfortunately, I did not manage to change any attributes of this grafic. I would like to get rid of the white background and I to change the color of the different objects, but no way.
Can somebody please help with a magic hint?
No one to help...?
Does the file open in photopaint?
If it does, how many objects do you see in the object docker (should be on the right of the screen) and what are they described as?
Thank you harryLondon!
Yes, it opens in photopaint and the describtion says 'background'.I duplicated it and deleted the background just to have an object and tried to delete the white background by means of the magic wand. But this gave a very unsatisfactory result.
Am I possibly wrong in photopaint and should I work with the file in draw? Too much questions...
If the image opens as a single background object, then either it does not contain a clipping path or it is in a format that Photopaint does not directly support.
Does the filename have an extension (the part after the dot, if it has one) ? Or did the seller state the file format (JPG, EPS, SVG etc) ?
The file is a simple jpg. No idea where it should hide a clipping path.Which file types do offer a changeable clipping path?
