Here is a free macro which saves a little time, for anyone interested. It creates an inner shadow on one or more selected shapes. There are a few presets on the macro and if you want to adjust the transparency slightly, click the undo arrow, adjust the transparency and then reapply.
Best regards,Brian.
I forgot to mention....you can apply the macro more than once to the same image, but there is probably little need to do so. Increasing the opacity will usually give a better result than applying a lower setting twice.
Thanks Brian,
I'll give it a try when I get home.
Thanks!
No worries Adrian. It's very basic, but good if you need a simple effect and you are in a hurry.
With work,
It can be a strong contender to DrawShader V2. Inside sources say that V3 will be a monster. Should be released soon.

Hi Adrian,
I am not competing with anyone...lol. To be honest with you, the question of how to make an inner shadow was brought up quite some months ago and Ariel posted his way of doing it. I really liked it, so I made a macro to do it for me. It had no settings though, so the result was always the same. When the the question came up again (the thread we were in earlier) I decided that since people do enquire about this effect I may as well add some controls and put the macro here for anyone who wants it.
I hope no-one ever thinks I am competing with them with my macros. I make them as a learning exercise (for me) and to help others do things a little faster, or to speed up the things I do on a regular basis.
I know what you mean. We all like (love) sharing what we know. I should have phrased my sentence a bit different.
If I had the time and patience as you and the other have, I would be developing macros myself and share them.
All the best, love how it works, just tested it and have an idea of how to use it outside of it's intended purpose.
Thanks again Brian!
Thank you Brian!
