Can anyone else see two fine white lines through this pattern.....it divides the page into 3. I made a pattern fill but the sqaure selection box was around two of the leaves so I know its not caused by me not selecting the pattern correctly as there would be even more white bits plus the white line is in the wrong position for this. The line shows very finely when I print out the sheet.....does anyone know the cause and how I get rid of it? The pattern was created with Draw
Yes I already tried but it said they were too big....how do I make them smaller
Hello PINKGEM; If you are trying to post a vector you can shrink the viewing size to make the file smaller with out losing anything. How much to big is it? And you could send it to one of the large file email firms and post the connect for it. ( some of them are free to try.
My Thoughts George

you can upload to a free storage service (gigasize.com, megaupload.com, yousendit.com, etc) and copy/paste the link

If it looks ok on everyones screens then there shouldn't be a problem as other people will be dowloading it and printing it off to use in paper crafting....but I can't let them have it with white lines through so I need to make sure it's not just me that can see it. I can see it clearly on screen in the jpg picture above but another member said they had to down load it and zoom right in to see it.....if so it shouldn't cause a problem with paper crafting
Hi,
I can clearly see the white lines on the screen and I have had this same problem often. This is caused by anti-aliased edges between your black tile and the white background created during the pattern creation.
To solve this, create a solid black (same black as in your pattern) rectangle behind the pattern that you are trying to create that is larger than your pattern tile. When you select the smaller section that contains your pattern, the anti-aliasing will no longer have transitional grey pixels along the edges and this should eliminate the white lines. Hope this helps.

Cindy
