Color Mgmnt : Converting CMYK to Pantone...help! :)

Hello!  I always use CMYK in my designs and have someone asking me to tell them the Pantone color codes for their logo design.  I have never had to convert them before and have searched forums and boards with no luck in finding an easy way to do this.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

  • Select a color in the logo, assuming it's a fill, go to the Uniform fill
dialog box (Shift + F11), choose the Palettes tab, select the little
down arrow where it says CMYK palette and choose Spot/Pantone/Previous
Version/Solid Coated and it will automatically choose the closest match
for that color, hit the OK button. Repeat for other fills and outlines
    as needed.
