For me, no other languages but spanish are listed in tools/options/global and english is not selectable in uninstall/modify.
How do I get english to be my language in corel?
I'm on Puerto Rico and that may be the issue, but PR is by law supposed to be bilingual, english/spanish.
I don't know spanish, please help me out.
Thanks,
Kel
I see the Languages Folder with a Spanish folder inside.
Is there a patch, or maybe a direct link to download the folders of other languages and just drop them in the Languages Folder?
I doubt it would be that simple but I had to ask.
I assume one has to go through the installation/modification stuff.
The other issue is that it's X5.
Yeah, no bueno with the Trial Version.
It knew who I was and where I am and automatically went all Spanish.
And I went to Custom Installation and just like when I go to uninstall/modify English is grayed out and not selectable and reads: ingles (necesario).
Well, if it's necesario why doesn't it install English?

You will see 3 different options for language settings:
1 - The language for install the program. It's used only during the installation, and usually is the same than your Windows language
2 - The language for writing tools. this is the option that you sees as garyed ot. If your operating system is on English, the program will show that it's necessary to install this language for compatibility, no matter if the interface is on other language. You can install all the languages you want, but those languages are used only for grammatik.
3 - The language of the interface, in other words, the language of the program itself. Unfortunately, you can't change it. You need to install an English version of the program. If you have two or more versions currently installed, you can choose the language on tools/ Option / Global. But if you have only the Spanish version, there's no way to change it to English. You will need the English version. Sorry
I looked for multiple pull-downs allowing me to select languages when i installed and there was only one and it doesn't work for any of the languages.
Why are there multiple versions based on language?
Shouldn't there be one version with all the languages and the users pick the one they want?
I highly suggest you to consider Puerto Rico an exception to the rule and have English/Spanish for PR if you're gonna keep up with this only one language allowed.
Everyone under 40 speaks both languages, and most between 40 and 65 at least know some English.
Oh well, I'm used to getting screwed because I don't know Spanish on PR.
It happens every day.
Thanks for your help, anyway.
Hello,I am currently having the same dilemma - I am looking at a German BOX/license for Corel Draw Graphics suite 2021 that is selling on Amazon but I wonder if I will be able to change the language to English (because my German is weak). Did you manage to change the language on your corel draw?
