Have purchased and installed Coreldraw Upgrade today.
I am trying to uninstall CoreldrawX5 to declutter my laptop.
Uninstall tool is asking me for my serial number for the old program. When I copy that in it says it is incorrect.
I have no other serial number and it is the one I used to install originally.
What to do?
I assume you're uninstalling from Control Panel/Programs and Features? That allows you to uninstall easily, and doesn't need a serial number. If you're trying to run from the installer, then you will need a serial number.
You can always check your serial number by logging in to your Corel account.
There's no need to use serial number for uninstall. I did it several times and it never asked for a serial number.
Make sure that you're running "uninstall" from Control Panel, not a "repair" or a new install
It's OK to keep version 5 on the system also... I have 7 versions of Coreldraw on my system. ;-)
