Hi All,
Is there a way to chnage a low res image to high res in Coral Draw X5 please ?
Thanks
Murray
CorelDRAW X8 was the first year I can remember PhotoZoom being bundled with the Suite. So your version has very few possibilities.
If the image is poor quality there is zero chance. If the image is low resolution but very high quality you might get away with resampling to double the resolution. Photo-PAINT X5 does a much better job the the same year version of Photoshop.
With that said newer versions of the CorelDRAW suite has that feature built in and it does a very good job with quality images.
Hi David, Thanks for the info, I realise my system is a bit old now.
Which of the Coral Draw system do I need to update to convert low res images to high res images please ?
Thanks again
You say your system is old. Do you mean just the CD software or both the CD software and the computer?
Im using win 10, so that should be okay. But Ive had Coral Draw X5 now for a long time.
Just wondering whch Coral Draw system to I buy so I can upload low res images and convert them to high res images please ?
The answer is version 2019 or newer, however the process depends on 3 things, how big? What quality? Color managed?
A Corel solution limits you to 30,000 pixels x 30,000 pixels, 300 inches at 100 DPI, 100 inches at 300 DPI. However it is a color managed solution.
The quality issue cannot be gotten around, you MUST have a quality image to start.
In my opinion 2021 or 2022 are the better with 2022 the most stable of the last 4 versions.
Thx for the info David, much appreciated.
Which system though as there are quite a few all named differently - Suite, Standards, Essentials, Store Edition ?
I would get the suite, I never know what's left out of the lesser versions.
Thx for your help and time David, wish you the best.
