Hi Guys,
I have encountered a problem with the bevel effect of corel draw that I can't seem to resolve. I have a vector image and I convert to curves. Click on effects/bevel/soft edge bevel. I set my distance, I set my shadow colour & light colour and when I apply the bevel it changes the face colour to a murky combination of the original vector colour/shadow colour & light colour. Can anyone suggest where I am going wrong? or what needs to be done to resolve this. I do not want to chance the face colour of the text in any way.
Hope this is clear enough.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very new to corel and I'm pulling my hair out with this.
Thanks

Could you post a screen capture of the image, or a link to the file?
The S is obviously my bevelled attempt. The E and the line underneath is the original vector and original colour. (the colour I would like the the bevelled letter to remain)..... I dont think the problem lies with the bevel properties.
Change Shadow color to X
Increase the altitude to the middle.
How's that?
Hi Mike,
I've tried changing the the shadow colour to X but it is still changing the original colour of the vector. Same way it does with any of the colours I try to change the shadow to. Also tried changing the altitude.... No joy :(
