I would really appreciate if it was possible to control (i.e.: set up & check the current value) the drawing scale directly from the command bars, without having to get deep into the Options menu (which is really unpractical and slow).
Actually there is a "Drawing scale" icon, but it allows to choose only among a limited selection of values: if the required drawing scale is outside this range (which happens quite often in my job), there is no alternative from the Options way. Moreover, if the scale is not included into the above-mentioned selection of values, the icon will not show the set scale value, but only a totally useless "Custom" string. Please, improve this item!!
Have you tried holding CTRL & ALT and dragging the icon from View > Setup > Grid & Ruler Setup to your workspace? This creates a duplicate of the menu.
Hi Adrian and thanks for your reply!Of course I put in my menu that icon and that allows a quicker access to the Drawing Scale window, but you easily understand that the Drawing Scale is such a fundamental aspect in an image that you should have full control of it and immediate visualization of the current active scale, instead of a totally useless "Custom" string.
