This is not a pressing issue, but Draw X5 has a maddening inconsistency when using ARRANGE/ALIGN AND DISTRIBUTE/....
When aligning objects with one another. "align Centers Horizontally" aligns the objects on a horizontal line...HOWEVER-- when aligning objects to the page "Center to Page Horizontally" aligns selected objects on a vertical line in the center of the page.
While this is not a huge deal, it is pretty confusing. This inconsistency does not occur in Draw X3.

Hello Beer Man; In the "Aline And Distribute" fly out it lets you set it how you want it to set the objects.

Sign Guy,
I don't find a "flyout" for align and distribute. As you can see by the attached screen shot, the circled items, both indicating a horizontal alignment, have their axes 90 degrees apart. I want to use the "one click" capability in the ARRANGE/ALIGN AND DISTRIBUTE MENU, not have to enter the "align and distribute" dialog, but I would like for "center to page horizontally" to do the same thing that "align centers horizontally" does.
I'm Sorry Beer Man, Jack is right the fly out is in X4, I don't have X5.
It is a little weird. That changed in X4. I do not have X5 but, your description is the same as X4. X3 is just the opposite. I suppose it all depends on your view point. Are the objects moving horizontally to align (vertical alignment) or should they align horizontally by moving vertically.
I believe this has been discussed over and over again, and Corel had a hard time trying to please everyone.Like Jack says, it's a matter of how you see it. Apparently there's a difference between "Align centers" and "Center to".Best thing to do is to learn how it works and then accept that it is correct.

Since there is no way to change this, you are, of course, right.
However, just FWIW:
This was discussed in the past (by me, too) concerning X3, because "Align Centers" and "Center to Page" commands seemed to be oddly-named, but at least they both behaved in the same way; i.e, in X3 "Align Centers Horizontally" and "Center to Page Horizontally" aligned objects along a horizontal line by moving them vertically (the converse being the case for "Align Centers Vertically" and "Center to Page Vertically"). In X5, the one horizontal alignment aligns objects on a horizontal line, but the other (center to page horizontally) aligns objects on a vertical line. This makes using the commands perpetually confusing.
