I loaded the trial of X6 and now I have no thumbnails for X5.
I reassociated the files with X5 ... but still no Thumbs.
Win7 64bit
Any Ideas?? TIA
I have been following all of the Forum Responses, I have now spent two days on trying to correct this. This is two days of production time that I am now non-productive. I have CDGSX5 and now CDGSX6 loaded and I am totally lost. I am at the point that I am DUMPING X6 and probably dumping X5 and just reinstalling X5.
This has been as bad as updated a Microsoft Product. Can Corel PLESE GET A SERVICE PACK N O W !!!
FosterCoburn said: Corel can’t fix something until they can figure out what exactly needs to be fixed. That is also why none of us can give a simple answer that will make them work.
Sorry, Foster, but I disagree.
Who has to point the solution is Corel itself, and not the users, which has already been reporting (several times) this issue long ago. The number of tips (about Windows Shell Extension) that some users have used to resolve this question must be understood as a simple "workaround".
It is past time to Corel give us a definitive solution to this torment. Until today, I am not resigned that, after installing a newer version of the Suite, affect something that SHOULD be automatically updated.
After the mess for the last two days with CDR thumbnail, now I have no thumbnails for JPG, BMP, etc. Removing X6 waste of production time
I had installed the 64B version on a Vista machine, is the problem the same if installing the 32B?
Also, My X5 Corel CONNECT now keeps crashing.
No More Thumbnails
