Hi, I am trying to import a list of names from Microsoft Word, there are seven to eight names per line separated by a bullet. I can import the list of names on a block of paragraph text but the bullets do not import, only the names. I was wondering if I am missing a setting or something in Corel that allows the bullets to import with the text.
Thanks
Well, I imported it in Illustrator and converted it to curves and then copied and pasted in Corel. Good workaround, But I would like to know if there is a way to do it natively in CorelDraw. Thanks
You can easly add bullets, put you cursor where you want the bullet and hold down the Alt key and type 0149 on your key pad. You must use the ked pad
It doesn't work; nothing happens when I do that. besides it is easier to just type Alt+7 which also inserts a bullet, but it is not working with this document. Also, I don't want to manually insert 2000+ bullets
I tried creating a smaller document with bullets in Word and I have the same problem, when I import it in Draw it doesn't have bullets, however I can add bullets to the smaller document by pressing Alt+7. So, I imagine that the problem that I am having with the larger document is that it is too large and exceeds CorelDraw's limits. If I create a bullet with the text tool and try to copy and paste into the long list of names I get an error telling me that the limit is 32000 characters, after I click OK on the warning the bullet is pasted. I wonder if this issue has been addressed in newer versions of CorelDraw.
