As far as I can see, you can only move an "entire selected object" with the Nudge functions... is it possible to move just one single "selected" node using the nudge functions?
I seem to be able to Nudge selected nodes of a Curve in X5.
Oops... my bad... I was actually trying to slide a letter of text over by selection its node on the bottom left. You are right, the nudge function works fine on regular object nodes. Now, if I can just get micro-adjustments for kerning to work... :o)
I seem to be able to Nudge selected characters in Artistic Text in X5, too.
That's independently moving just the selected characters, though - not really kerning. So, it might be OK to bludgeon a single piece of Artistic Text into shape, but it's not very elegant.
I have seen the wish for "finer" kerning expressed a number of times on these forums.
Are you already aware of Ctrl+Shift+, and Ctrl+Shift+. (hold down Ctrl and Shift, then press the comma or period key) for adjusting kerning?
The biggest complaint I have seen about that is that the steps are too large.
I still can't seem to nudge individual characters using the arrow keys... strange...?
