Is there a way to do this in Coreldraw?
I have a solution that may work for you. It does work for me in X7. I use the Polyline a lot. That is one of the tools I do a lot of panning while it is actively drawing a line. So I found that not only by panning, but just by clicking the scroll wheel on the mouse, it will allow zooming as usual. Its not the only tool which locks the zoom upon dropping a node. For me in X7 the B-Spline tool also locks the zoom. So far I see that there are multiple tools that do this, and clicking the mouse wheel "unlocks" the zoom.
