thumbnails don't show up complete

Hi,
In corelconnect X6 (studentversion) I don't get complete thumbnails of the  .cdr files.
Only the green/white balloon of corel is to be seen.  
How can I change this?

    Not sure if the Student versin is the same, but try this: on Windows Explorer, select a CDR file and choose "open with.." with the secondary mouse button, then choose "another program" (even if CorelDRAW is already on the list) and search for CorelDRAW, then enable this program as default for this extension.
