I'm having issues w/ mouse-wheel zoom in PP X6. I have a dual monitor configuration and it doesn't seem to matter which monitor I'm on. It just goes crazy when I zoom in and it does NOT zoom where my mouse cursor is.
This is truly driving me nuts, because I use the mouse-wheel zoom feature religiously.
Either you have a corrupt workspace for PP, in one of your computers (which I doubt) or you are using third party mouse drivers, i.e.: Logitech or Microsoft mouse, mouse driver and not using the Windows built in mouse driver, on one of your machines....Even the touchpad on a laptop can act differently than a mechanical mouse, even when you are using the Windows driver(s).

As for the "squirrely" behavior, I suspect the mouse driver.
Ronny Axelsson said: Actually, it zooms in toward the direction of my cursor, but not at that exact xy coord. That's what I see too.Not that I use the mouse wheel zoom much, especially not in PP, but the zoom behavior sure isn't what's expected.I checked PPX5 and X4 as well, and it's the same there. Probably as designed but not very logical. As for the "squirrely" behavior, I suspect the mouse driver. [/quote] I uninstalled the mouse driver and then it behaved more like I'm used too. Still, not very intuitive, but you're right. This is the way it's always worked in PP and I think it should be fixed. I'm going to start a feature request for it right now.

I'll notify Corel about it. It might be as designed but I think it could be worth taking a look at.
Can you let us know which mouse and driver you're using?
