i have 2 jpg picture files and I want to make one new one picture or copy the picture from one file and place it next to the other picture in the other file.
for example i have a picture of a red car and a picture of a blue car. I'd like to end up with one picture contaning a red car and a blue car
If I create a third picture and copy and paste an existing picture into it, the quality of the new picture is reduced.
can you advise how I should do this?
thanks in advance
Sorru about the double post.
I normally open a new file the size is the finished image size of the 2 images set your DPI and any other extras now.
I then import each image into this new file adjust as needed.
You may have some problem on the quality if image 1 is taken on a dull day and image 2 is on a bright sunny day and the DPI of each image is not the same.
Remember also that jpgs use lossy compression, so some degradation is inevitable, and this will accumulate each time one is edited.
To avoid that, try to save in non-lossy formats (CPT, TIF, PNG). For web images, use PNG. But if you must create a jpg, then you should also make a non-lossy copy so that you can re-open that instead of the jpg for any further work.
