When I make a change on one page it changes on all pages of the site.
Please advise.

The textbox in question is probably placed in the Masterborder region, anything in there will carry over to all pages. What u need to do is select one of your pages which u don't want the text box to appear. Select the Masterborder region(it will highlight) and the Masterborder Properties Panel will appear on the right. Click the Add/Edit button, choose add and give it a name.
Now delete the text box in question.
Go to SiteView, select all the pages which u don't want the textbox to show(hold down shift). In Pages Properties Panel, select your new Masterborder in the value dropdown list and click Set on all.
