I am stunned that CD still does not have feathering of vector objects-- Why would this be????

Perhaps it would help if you tell us what sort of design you are wanting to feather? Three ways to feather come to mind first, and these tools have been with CorelDRAW as long as I can remember...Contour tool, Blend tool and Transparency tool.
