black color printing looking greyish

hi i noticed that when i try to print anything that has a black in it it comes out looking greyish but when i print the test page from my printer the black comes out looking black so i dont know what im doing wrong

on the bottom of the design page i see some thing saying

(Document color profiles: RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1; CMYK: U.S. Web Coated(SWOP) v2; Grayscale: Dot Gain 20%)

dont know if that help to assist in solving my problem

  • Check Preserve pure black in Color Management ON, print the page and the black will be black. After that check it again OFF because if you convert a bitmap from RGB to CMYK for example Corel will convert all the R 0 G 0 B 0 /rgb black/ to 100%black and thats a problem.

I don't know what is the idea of that control in Corel but it's confusing me.
