hi i noticed that when i try to print anything that has a black in it it comes out looking greyish but when i print the test page from my printer the black comes out looking black so i dont know what im doing wrong
on the bottom of the design page i see some thing saying
(Document color profiles: RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1; CMYK: U.S. Web Coated(SWOP) v2; Grayscale: Dot Gain 20%)
dont know if that help to assist in solving my problem
help please
thanks
still facing this issue please any one have an idea
Check Preserve pure black in Color Management ON, print the page and the black will be black. After that check it again OFF because if you convert a bitmap from RGB to CMYK for example Corel will convert all the R 0 G 0 B 0 /rgb black/ to 100%black and thats a problem.
I don't know what is the idea of that control in Corel but it's confusing me.
sorry very fresh at this,
where would i fing the color management option to choose the
preserve pure black, i assume it should be on the print dialogue box under color but couldn't find it
please advice
In CorelDraw menu go to TOOLS / COLOR MANAGEMENT / DEFAULT SETTINGS and look at that window at lower left corner there is the check box I'm talking about. After that make a print and see if it's OK.
you are the best ,
thanks for taking the time to assist me
thats golden
thanks again
