I am trying to create quality Black and White line drawings from images.I have used a few online converters, but the results were less than desirable. I have tried to use CorelDraw X6, but I just can't seem to get it to the quality it should be. Can someone give me some instruction on how to do this the easiest and best ways? Thanks
Do you have the original 3d files. If so, just convert them to line drawings.
those look awesome. I don't have the original 3D files. I have attached an example of what I am looking for in the end. The example shows the quality and detail level I need, basically.
Here is one of many ways....
When you do it, it looks great. I am not getting results that are even close. What would you charge me to do this? send me a message. Thanks

I wont charge anything on a Help Forum. But, if this works for you, you could buy a Macro off of MacroMonster
I took one of your images right from the original post and did a step by step example. If you follow these steps to a "T" they will be exactly the same.
Choose the desaturated image and adjust the Contrast as shown. This step really isn't necessary but can help in other images that lack contrast.
The next step involves the Find Edges. With the object still selected...
The final step is to use a Tone Curve adjustment that reduces the grey lines...
I hope this this tutorial works for you...
Mike
This tutorial is awesome. Thank you so much. I am sure it will help a lot of people.
I do have a question. How did you continue past this to refine the image below to the way it looks? My version is first, using the tutorial above, and your image is below. Yours still looks a lot more clean and professional. Thanks.

Try changing the Contrast, step 1, to a lower amount. Remember all images will need a tweak here and there. But the more I look at it, I think yours tuned out better!
I actually did that just now with the contrast, and it did clean it up some, and make it closer to your final image. I can see what you mean about mine, at least as far as the main lines being darker, and more pronounced. Some of them are fuzzy/shaded/too thick, so I will have to figure out just how to clean that up. Also, I need to add soemthign else to the image, so I will try to do that, and if I can't I guess I will just post about it on this forum.

You could just erase the Fuzziness out if need be. But I sorta like the Sketched look to it myself.YMMV

No problemo!
These are looking better, but I am no artist, and my drawing skills with a mouse totally suck. I really need to clean these up a bit and make some minor changes (1 really). I have tried to do this myself, but my art skills are basically non existent. Mike, would you be interested in helping me out? I will pay you. This should take someone like you only a few minutes to do. Please let me know.
If you are interested, I will email you the images.
Thanks!
