Hi all,
I have a monochrome image in document. I print the document using "Publish to PDF". After opening the document in Acrobat, I get incorrect result.
For example, 100% black convert to 92% black. It's possible to solve this problem?Printing to PS-file is not a solution In my case.
PDF options do not include monochrome color export. What is the original color format of the file, and what format are you exporting to?
The CMYK model is used everywhere.PDF options do not include monochrome color export and might be the problem here? Parametr "Convert-Monochrome-To-CMYK" has hidden noeditable conversion table or algorithm.
Out of curiosity, you mention it is a monochrome "image" in your document. What format is the original image? I know you say "Convert-Monochrome-To-CMYK" is used, but if the image is originally RGB it might not be converting correctly to CMYK.. I have had files sent to me and I needed to do color correction too before printing.

When I open your Corel file, I see that the BLACK is C-0 M-0 Y-0 K-100. When I import your pdf, the black is now GREY-21. There was a change to the image type from CMYK to Greyscale. I don't know what settings you are using when exporting to pdf. I exported your original cdr file as a CMYK pdf. I opened it in Corel and the K value was 100. I exported the original cdr file as a greyscale pdf. When I opened that pdf in Corel I had a Grey value of 0. Which is what you want. Since I was able to export your file to pdf in 2 different formats, and got the right result, I would assume it might be a setting when you publish to pdf. I am using Corel Draw 2019. When you export/publish to pdf, try it as a CMYK color format. Is your K value still 100? Would that file still be useable?
Problem exist only in Corel Draw 16 . In Corel Draw 2019 don't have one.
Problem exists in CDR 2018 also. I can't export black lines in CDR as black lines in PDF.
