Hi~
I want to change the color of this background. Is there a way to create this in Corel so I can change the color to shades of purple? I've tried, but I know you all are talented at creating this kind of effect~
Thanks to anyone that can help:)

Great ideas...Thank you all!!
However, I'm having an issue with getting the right tone of purple. The hue looks blue and pink. I want more toward plum and majestic purple. Any suggestions? Just call me Picky Patty Powers~:)
Thanks again~
Uh, have a swatch/sample color? Or, we could just keep guessing and making adjustments <g>
They're in the RGB color palette. Plum and majestic purple. Is that enough info? Or do you need to see what I came up with?
Here's my sample. The two palette colors you mention are in rectangles at the bottom. Remember there are two of the images.

Use the object manager to select the bottom one or Alt-click the top one. Play with the hue/saturation. And/or try the Image Adjustment Lab.
I don't know if you are wanting the rays to be the lighter purple and the black space be the other or not.

Mike,
This is where I'm at...don't know what I'm doing:) What I'm trying to achieve are "heavenly" rays going behind the owls. Purple because it's for a friend whose daughter passed of Muscular Dystrophy. Purple is MD's color, rays for an angel in heaven~*~
No worries. Sorry for adding any stress.
Select your image. Press CTRL+Shift+u to open the hue/sat slider. Have a play with it.
Used on your original, the settings below should look similar to the screen shot.
No stress or worries. I appreciate the help~:)
Thank you!!
