Who doesn't love adding little circles around their artwork and then playing a game of duplicate/distribute/check distance between them?
Well, for those people there's this:
You pick a rivet hole size, fold width, maximum distance between rivets and it will automagically do the rest.
Just have something selected and go to town. I have set the number defaults to what I use in mm. It should be easy for you to change them to whatever you need if you go into the Macro editor and open the form page.
Have fun!
That's awesome!
I've done my own but a little more primitive. I've included a button that you can hit once the design is approved for print. It will delete the grommets but leave a dot in place. It also deletes the inside borders/outlines whereby leaving only the outside rectangle for cutting the banner.
We have templates set up for various banner sizes for quick layouts but can also do custom sizes fairly quick using a series of macros.

Do I understand this correctly? Tried it but I don't get it
Uh...never mind. Light bulb just came on. I figured it out. Label is misleading. Upper left box is grommet/rivet size to the right of that is the size of your banner hem, then your distance between grommets, then line weight (not sure why you need it though).
Heh, perhaps I should have made it a little more clear. English isn't my native language so some of the print-related terms are a little foggy.
I probably could have left line width out, yeah, it kinda has a use here, but probably less so for the average user.
We mostly have different banner sizes all the time so I made this "reactive" macro instead of presets and such. If anyone has any wishes or feedback I'm open to them.
Still pretty awesome Joe. I just went in the macro editor and put my own labels in and inserted the hover over hint. Also changed the defaults to fit our needs.Wish I knew how to adjust the spacing. I use inches so when I put 24in, which is our standard, it doesn't come out right. Also our way would be to have it work inward as opposed to outward. The grommets should be placed to the inside of your banner not outside. Unless you put in a negative number for the hem size. I'll try that when I get to work.
