My program seems to default as a circle nib when using the clone tool. However occasionally I must click something by accident as the nib changes to a weird shaped tool of some sort. Not knowing how to to change it back... I used the new shape tool and actually began liking it better than the circle. That is until it arbitrarily changed back to the circle when I opened the program one day... how do I toggle back and forth, so "I" select what tool I want instead of having it selected for me...?
Thanks

Hi RMCALL
When you click on your clone tool, look up toward the top of your page and you will see an area called "normal clone" and then followed by "shape" with a dot and a square shown. Just to the right of that will be a larger black dot with a drop down arrow. Click the drop down arrow to select the nib that you would like to use.
Thanks for response, but this only changes the shape of the nib... the tool that mysteriously appeared one day almost resembled the airbrush tool, but it was in cloning mode. The tool (whatever it was) enabled me to clone much more accurately as it had a tip that would enable you to align with source and get really accurate cloning.
Only thing I can think of is once you select your round nibs you right click the area and the nib will have a cross hair inside to allow for precise alignment of your clone. Could this be what you are referring to?
