Reselect

Hi, Does anyone know if CD has a reselect or similar button.
When I am populating zillions of curves by combining or welding and after finishing the selection, an itchy trigger finger on any o'l button can vanish the selection.
I know about Find and Replace, but you still have to enter the details again.

on Find and Replace you have the option for "find objects that match the currently selected object".

You could define a selection group, but it will take some forethought.

To create a selection group, with objects selected, press Ctrl + a number between 0 and 9.

To recall selection, press the assigned number.

You can also add to a selection group. There are more details in Help. Choose the Index tab and look for Selecting objects.

Can't use the number pad have to use the regular numbers

Ctrl+number to create a new group (i.e. erase a previously created group).
Alt+number to add objects to that group.
Number alone to select everything in that selection group.

Took a while before I found out how to handle it and found it useful, but now I use it rather frequently.
The best thing (to me) is that you can select multiple objects inside different groups this way.
