Hi,
I just upgraded to X7 from X6 and now the preview pane displays "No Preview Available" when I am opening a file previously created file. Can some please guide me to how I can turn on this feature. OS: Windows 7 64bit.
Thanks,
Raj.

The most probable suspect is the Corel Graphics - Windows Shell Extension. You may need to uninstall that (via the Control Panel's Programs and Features) and to install the one found on the X7 DVD (also can be found in C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7\Setup\CGS17\ShellExt.msi)
Thanks for the reply. I don't have the dvd, just the downloaded file from corel. This issue is also affecting x6 now. cant see the preview of any cdr files.

Again, as I said, uninstall the current Windows Shell Extension and then install a new copy. See my previous post for the exact path to the extension installation file name.
Excellent... it worked. I had to install the X6 version of the Shell Ext for it to work. X7 version did not work, don't care as long as it works. Thanks for you help, much appreciated.
You are welcome. Glad to have you up and running, again.
But, why is the quality worse than it was before it stopped working?
