I've spent a lot of time getting my workspace where I like it in X6. When I export it the only available format is to a .xslt file. However, when I try to imort it into X7, I get this message "Valid workspace file not found at the path specified".
The X7 import shows the ability to select .cdws, .xslt, .cwf and .cfg formats, but it will not import the .xslt from X6.
Help would be very appreciated.
Bill
Workspaces were completely rebuild for X7 and therefore you cannot move previous versions of workspaces forward to X7.
Get a nice large cup of coffee or soda, lock yourself in a room and you can have your shiny new X7 workspace knocked out in an hour, maybe two if you go nuts.

And remember to save the workspace file you created else you may have to get another cup of coffee or Soda each time you reset with F8.

In all the other versions, I could extend the menus from the tools on the left side and remove them to place them elsewhere in my workspace...
Can I still do this? This example was taken from X6.
Yeah well...Settin' up my own workspace is a pain in X7!!!You can't put your tool wherever you want! They seem to be locked on some sort a of grid in the workspace. And, like my earlier question...Does anyone know why the heck the tool flyouts can't be placed elsewhere like in many of the other CorelDRAW past versions I can remember?
You can create a new toolbar by going to Customization > Command Bars and clicking on the "New" button on the left lower side. Then you can go to the Commands section and drag buttons on the new toolbar.
I don't know the answer to your question about the flyouts, though. Hope that helps.
Thanks PixelDust!Man, that really help me out!
