I realized that I lost one of my art files, I attempted to recover it, but no luck on my end. Can anyone open the Corel file and resave for me?

Tried, but all I get is an Invalid File (corrupted) notice. Tried renaming as a ZIP file to open it to try to extract parts/portions of the document, but even that is corrupted for my un-zip routines.
Sorry, this looks lost to me.
Hello Judy; I also tried without any luck, it may go back to when you were having other computer problems. Did you ever get that stright?
George
I ran it through DiskInternals Zip File recovery. It managed to extract 150Kb of internal folders from the original 1.8Mb, but these contained only the colour profile, document colour palette, plain text lookup table, metadata (list of used fonts and statistics), a thumbnail representation of the document and a small thumbail of page 1.
Unfortunately no page objects were recovered, and the above is only sufficient to see what was on the page, but nothing is useful as it stands.
Thank you for trying guys! Big bummer though this was an art collection I was working on :( lots of pieces I will have to recreate, but I have the jpg, so at least I will have something to look off I guess...
No I have not heard back from support yet, for now I am working back in X5 when working in my pantone jobs.
You might like to check the Backup up original file before saving option.
CDR will then back up your drawing every time you save.
Nothing worse than losing a big complex file
