Hi,
I am new to this community and quite raw when it comes to CorelDraw, so please accept my apologies if my ignorance shines through with this question.
We have used printmerge before, but this time we want to import cells from excel that contain multiple lines of text and i cannot get the data to present its self correctly in CorelDraw, it only imports the first line of text from the cell, the remaining lines are simply ignored.For example:cell c10 "happy birthdayjoelots of loveanne"
Will import and display "happy birthday"
cell c11
"happy fathers dayyour the best - chloe xxlove"will import and display "happy fathers day"
The cell data has already been formatted so we don't want to split the content into multiple columns, we want to import it in and display it as it is.
Is this possible or is this a printmerge limitation?
I will appreciate any recommendations,
Chibby
I suppose you are using HARD RETURN (ALT+ENTER) in Excel to split text in one cell to several lines.
Then you can apply following macro in Excel to replace Hard Return by „•“.
Sub ReplaceHardReturn()
Selection.Replace What:=Chr(10), Replacement:="•", LookAt:=xlPart, _
SearchOrder:=xlByRows, MatchCase:=False
End Sub
Best regards
Mek
You're welcome
