how to create a single line font creation in corel draw x7

plz tell me, how i convert lines into objects? Thanks

Use a copy of your file.

Select a line, ctrl+shift+q (or the Object menu, Convert Outline to Object).

If you convert your lines to objects they they become rectangles and may not be the desired output. i.e. not the same as single line

Myron, for a font they need to be closed paths and the only way a line can become a closed path is to convert it to an object in CD.

Technically there is no "single line" font. Just really thin closed curves (objects). Not saying one will not need to make adjustments to the shapes once converted. Depending on how well the conversion works--which in part depend upon the design--the amount of work will be from none to significant on any given character in the font. And there may be the need to combine as well.

It's all part of the fun. Because I have always used a font editor for font creation, I have only played at making a font in CD, and that was a long, long time ago. It worked, but I would never make a font that way except in an emergency.
