Hi all. I am running Windows 7 on a built machine and direct connect Epson WF 30. Everything had worked great for a long time an now my print dialogue interaction is almost unuseable. As soon as I click to print, it takes several minutes for the window to come up and all my profile settings are no longer remembered. When I click to change ANYTHING, Corel immediately goes into "not responding" and takes several minutes to respond. Ink Levels also no longer show and ( while maybe not related but worth mentioning ) the print windows no longer open on the screen I am working on. Totally randomly they will open on any of my 4 monitors.
I have reinstalled drivers, defragmented, cleaned all temp files etc and no change. I have searched for a long time and tried all the recommendations to no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Work is painfully unproductive when it takes 15 minutes to print a page!
Thanks!

Is this a network printer? Is this behaviour new, or have you just installed CGS? Have you just upadted Windows?
its windows 7. but the problem started about the 4th of this month I don't see anything new installed
I'm running out of ideas.....
I once had a similar issue in another program, and resolved it by reinstalling the latest printer drivers.
In Win 7 can you roll back printer drivers? It might be worth trying to see if it's a new printer driver problem.
Other thoughts:
Is it just one file?
What does task Manager show while the X7 is hanging?
Nothing obvious taking CPU time.
A long shot - both show Font Service active (and it needs to be). It might be worth resetting FontManager (holding down F8 whilst starting FM). If you want to keep any settings, backup \Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018\Databases\V2 and/or C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Corel\FontDatabase\V1
what i'm doing now is just publishing every file PDF and printing from there. i have no other option.
its such an interesting problem which in my opinion should have an easy fix.
what is also interesting is that when i go to print preview and hit the print icon it prints right away no problems, but i can't change any setting, like which printer or page size and orientation because once i click on the setting icon the same freeze happens.
from this i can see it has nothing to do with the printer/s because whichever printer is the default it will print perfectly when i click the printer icon in corel print preview. once i click on setting then it freezes for 6-7 minutes.
so if its a standard 8.5x11 size (which on most printers is the default setting) and i just want to print it to the default printer i can do that perfectly from the print preview.
so basically its the corel "print options" window which takes the time to load after the 6-7 minute wait i can work perfectly, change all settings etc etc and print. but its impossible for me to waste that much time. so i'm making pdf's and printing from there.
today everything just went back to normal. no idea what this was. thanks everyone for trying to help me.
