low quality when exporting

hi all,

i'm new to x7 having use cd11 for years, i'm having trouble exporting a image so it stays the same or near quality as the original, i no issue doing this in cd11,

basically its a jpeg image high res, i've tried exporting png, jpeg, tiff, bitmap, all at the highest settings but its still low quality, can anyone help?

If you can post a cdr file, and the low quality resulting bit map on say dropbox or something, I am sure some will be happy to take a gander.

you're trying to get a MONOCHROME bitmap to a better quality? I take it you never had a vector version first? Beast advice I'd say is to convert it to rgb bitmap at 300 dpi then do a trace an re-typeset the text and a little clean up here and there.

I am not sure what is going on here. The jpeg shows as a 600dpi image. When I open the CDR, there is a set of text, and a bitmap that says it is 7016x4961 px and 2076x2076 dpi monochrome.

hi, i only had a jpeg originally, so ignore the text bit, lets just for a job info
i dont want to retypeset or trace it at all as i don't need it like that,
my question is, why when i export it as a jpeg at the highest possible resolution does the image degrade in x7
but it doesnt degrade when i use my older coreldraw11
can someone save the coreldraw image only (ignore the text bit) as jpeg and see if that get the same quality as the cdr
