i am trying to use x7 on my new laptop and i would like two finger dragging to zoom in and out but it is scrolling right and left and side to side. i have looked all of the settings that i know to check and cannot figure it out. I would like the dragging two fingers up and down to zoom in and out rather than scroll. Does anyone know how this can be accomplished. Thank you.

Does anyone else have this problem? On my Dell XPS 13 I cannot 2-finger zoom, regardless of the settings, nothing changes it to work correctly. It always pans. any help would be appreciated.
I assume you have particularly set the Option "Workspace"->"Display"->"Default action for mouse wheel" = "Zoom"?
This is necessary because the two-finger scroll should be regarded like a mouse wheel scroll by your OS.
Does you Touchpad-Driver allow for "Pinch Zooming" (spreading fingers while touching the pad)?
On my laptop, I get panning in Corel X7 when I pinch zoom, but actual zooming with two-finger-scroll works.
So if two-finger-zooming gives you panning on your laptop, maybe pinch-zooming will give you actual zooming?
Pinch zooming does zoom the drawing. it is hard to gauge the degree of zooming because it gives the spinning circle (think hourglass) then zooms. it is a delayed response. but it does zoom. maybe this is the new standard with multi touch gesture touchpads.
