Hi there,
Just starting with CorelDRAW X7, so sorry if this is a simple question, but I cannot find an answer yet.
I have a file from a customer, that contains ArtisticText, Calibri, Bold, 14.0 pt
If I either ConvertToParagraphText, or copy the text and paste it into a paragraph text box, the font changes to 6.464 pt.
If I create a new paragraph text box, set the font to Calibri, Bold, 14.0 pt input some text, ConertToArtistic, it stays the same. Also if I convert it back again.
Sorry for my ignorance, but I don't understand why if the ArtisticText appears to be 14.0 pt, it is actually something else.....?
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance

What's the file? Corel, word, ppt etc.
Quick tip for copy and paste formatted text:If you want to 'kill' all formatting information of a text proceed simply like that: Open a simple text editor like window's NotPad which does not support any formatting, paste your text inside, unselect the text and select it again (since in general such text may have superfluous characters at the beginning or end, I select then only the core text) and put this in the clipboard. Go then to your target application and paste this in your desired area -> all formats gone.
It's a Corel file
Thanks for the tip, but I want to keep the same formatting that was in the Artistic text. For some reason though the font size is being reduced after its converted into Paragraph text.
It may be also depending on the Unit-Setting of the different documents or the DpI. Have you compared them? Tools / Options / Documents / Page size (I have to translate this from my native language, maybe the names are not all correct)
