I've imported a dxf file with text.I would like to fill in the existing text so when I send it to my laser it will scan instead of cut. How do I do this?
Is this text that imports into CorelDRAW as just "centerline" information? The result of what is sometimes referred to as a "single-line" or "engraving" font being used in the software that produced the DXF file?
It might be that "Convert Object to Outline" will be part of the process to achieve what you want, perhaps in conjunction with use of some other tools before and/or after using that - but I wouldn't claim that's the answer with any confidence until I've looked at a representative file.
If you upload a DXF file with a sample of this sort of text (put the DXF file into a ZIP file in order to upload it to the forum), then it would be easy for others to check out the file and then make suggestions.
