after so many saves in X7 i get an error saying:
"file was modified by another user since you opened the file. to prevent losing your changes, please save the new name (File>Save AS)" its so frustrating bc i either have to rename it over and over or copy and close and re-open it and paste it, then re-save it...
no one else works on my computer.

Are you saving to a dropbox folder, google drive, or other cloud synch folder? Is there backup software set to instantly back up files in the save location? These could be changing some attribute on the file.
thank you for your response....yes sir dropbox..no sir no backup software..im am using two computers, one at home one at work...but only one at a time.
And what happens if you don't save to a dropbox location, or disable dropbox? If it is dropbox, it could be dropbox is locking the file while it syncs it, disallowing save.
