Unfortunately, I bought a three pack of this program before I found out you can't repeatedly save your work if you are using a cloud file system like Dropbox or Google drive. Since I travel and need to save to the cloud so my staff and see my work, this is an absolute no-go issue for this software. I must be able to repeatedly save my work. I figured they might have had a patch for it by now, but apparently that never happened. So, my question is this:
What is the most recent version of CorelDraw that does NOT have the saving error when you are saving to a cloud service?
I have to buy this for three computers, so it's important to me that I get something that's going to work this time. Really upset that I wasted my money on this version before finding out it had this major flaw. I assumed it would behave like X5 only with more stuff.
Thanks for your help!
You bought X7 version 17 recently? You do know it's 3 version old the newest is 2018 which is version 20
I bought it two years ago. I was unaware at the time that there was a huge problem with saving. I don't want to shell out money for another version and find out it, too, has a major flaw.

Yes, read that already. The solution is to disable Dropbox or whatever cloud service you are saving to. That is not a fix because if I forget to disable it before I start my project, even after I disable it, the error remains and I have to duplicate my project in order to save it. This is not a problem with Dropbox. It's a problem with CorelDrawX7 that I hope to avoid with my next upgrade.
I have no personal experience with this issue, but I got the impression from that thread that some users saw things improve with an Update.
What version is your X7 reporting under Help>About CorelDRAWX7?
