if I have an image that has a black background on top of black it looks fine until I export to .png but the black background turns lighter and looks terrible. What am I doing wrong? This has been bothering me for years since upgrading to x7. See before and after pics
Could we see your Color Manangement Settings? (Tools - Color Management - Default Settings)
Try checking preserve pure black
Are you using transparent png? Try using png24 w/transparent background. Looks like a pallet issue
It is possible, that you have a palet with spot-color instead of process color.
If you select background-object, what is on bottom right corner for fill-color?
