We have several operators working on Coreldraw X7. One of our operators opened artwork which should have produced a font exception but didnt, resulting in us producing artwork with the incorrect font. All of our other operators on trying to open the same job got the font exception message as expected. Any ideas why one operator wouldnt get the font exception message?
Everyone working on the same version of Coreldraw.
The font was Trajan Pro-Bold(Type1) (Western) Suggested Substitute was Trajan Pro- Bold (OpenType - PostScript) (Western)
it happens with all fonts or just with this job and this font?
C'mon Ariel..... Really,,,,,,?
This is a software issue.... NOT a job specific problem for ONE isolated user.
I can't deny nor confirm if it was a software issue. But according the post, on all other computers the same program works fine, except one. For this reason I asked if it was just one file or all files
Hi Ariel, its just this one file but is of concern as if we hadn't noticed that the font had defaulted we could have produced £10000 worth of useless product. It's really important to us that the software indicates that there is a font exception every single time as it normally does except in this case?
