I have looked and I can't seem to find the answer to this. I make a setting and go to Tools>Save Settings as Default and When I restart Corel I get the default default not the new settings I have entered. Really frustrated because all I find about this issue is telling me to do what I've already done. What am I missing? Thank you for any help you guys can give.
So for more context I was trying to set a default color. I wanted a box to have black and no fill when drawn. I set it by having nothing selected and clicking the color and set the outline to none and it works, go to save as default and on restart back to no fill and black outline.
Well, I suppose that you already did all the right steps. Anyway, i will repeat the process:
- if you set the default color for fill and outline it shoudl work for the current document. Does it work fine for you?
- As you said, if you go to "save settings as default" under the Tools menu it should save it for the future documents (past jobs could maintain their settings). If it doesn't work for you, you can try this:
I'll keep this in mind. I just opened a new doc and it did what I wanted. Maybe it was an old file that retained the info from last time, can't remember. If I run into it again I'll try importing/exporting. Thank you.
