How to create a clock's hour and minute marks accurately

Hello pals, I'm new here. I am creating a clock face with perfect dials. How do I create the hour and minute marks accurately?

  • Hi Wilson,

Be aware that you may not get a satisfactory image for a watch dial by using DRAW and Photopaint.
DRAW creates vector images which are mathematical descriptions of the image - and so - may be scaled to any size.
Photopaint is bit map application.  The last I looked, you could only get a maximum of 300 ppi when converting to a Photopaint image from DRAW.

A watch dial can taper down to a hundredth of an inch or so - thus the width would be only a few pixels wide. That's not enough for an offset press either.

I'm not aware how watch people handle this.
