Hi, I need to duplicate an object mulktiple times but when I press ctrl D a pop up box comes up fo the x y amounts. Is there any way of disabling this as sometimes I want to duplicate a few times in a row and it pops up every time which really slows things down
Cheers
Have you entered any numbers in the Duplicate Offset distance settings? Seems I recall you need to add a distance and save it as default so it won't ask you each time. You can do this in Settings (under the general Document settings). I don't have X7 on the laptop I'm on now, but I believe this is how it works. Be sure to Save setting as Default after you do this, so you won't have to do it again.
If I start with a fresh default workspace, then I only see this message the first time that I use Duplicate, and that's it - even if I just press "OK" without changing either of the offset distances.
In the Registry, it's stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Corel\CorelDRAW\20.0\Draw\Application Preferences\Editing as "DupOffsetPrompt" with a value of 0.
In a workspace .CDWS file, it's stored in the settings.ini file.
If CorelDRAW doesn't seem to be remembering this, then perhaps there is something messed up in the workspace (or saving changes to the workspace, or loading settings from the workspace, or...).
