I need to arrange rectangles on a straight line (red) to a curved line (green) without distorting the size of the rectangles nor the distance between them. I did this by arranging each individual rectangle separately which takes forever. Is there an quicker solution to this major problem of mine?CorelDraw Community Problem.cdr
Thank you for your reply. Tried using envelope tool but it distorted the rectangles. I'm sending along a couple of pics of desk name plates I make. The names of the couple are in a straight line whereas the date of marriage is curved on the same contour as the base plate. I can easily do the names but following 10mm off of the base plate cirbe is a night mare for me. I've have to individually use the rotate tool with a line between the boxes to maintain the proper letter space. If I could move a straight set of rectangles to conform to a curve without the distortion, it would save me a bunch of time. Take a look at the pics and I think you will better understand what I'm seeking to accomplish. Thanks again for your help. By-the-way, if you can find me a quick way of accomplishing my objective, I'd be glad to make one for you. Many thanks - Ron

If I understand correctly, the rectangles are the "pockets" into which tabs on the bottoms of the letters will be inserted. When we are looking at your .CDR file, we are seeing the base plate as viewed from directly above. Please correct me if I have misunderstood.
One idea that comes to mind would be to create a font in which all of the characters are rectangles of the same height, but of varying widths, with the same metrics for spacing as the font you are using.
That might allow you to harness CorelDRAW's "fit text to path" capabilities. So, something like this - but imagine that the letters were replaced with rectangles of the appropriate sizes in the right places. Your capital A and capital R, for example, would each have a character comprised of two rectangles.
