CorelDraw X8 Lens Transparency not exporting as a PNG transparency

This bug keeps appearing in X3, X7 and now again in X8. Create a graphic in CorelDraw and apply a standard transparent lens to the object, export as a transparent PNG. It should be transparent so when used as a PNG it's a lens.

Currently it is exported as a solid. Time to find my CorelDRAW X5 CDs and install it so I can work on the graphic needed.

See below, the grey box has a lens of 50% applied to it, you can see this over the blue box. When exporting the rest of the grey box is a solid - it should be a PNG transparency.

Opened up X5, and it appears that the Lens does not working there either, but Transparency does. So that's the difference.

Can the team take a look at Lens and see what they behave differently when exporting to a transparent PNH.

Below is a screenshot of a transparent graphic in X5.

So it's "designed" to work incorrectly! Does not work the same as the transparency function.

A graphic object with a lens exported as a transparent PNG should be a lens when it's exported! It should be possible to open that PNG in Photoshop and it should keep its transparency.

Your example above is a transparency with CorrlDraw, the real world example is a lens applied to a graphic and then used in another bitmap application, or website as a transparent PNG.

Don't mean to be snippy, but it doesn't work as expected.
